Discontinued parts for base model 80 series (1hz diesel - manual gearbox - manual windows - barn doors - etc) (1 Viewer)

Tried to order some 68170-60040's (inner weathersttrip for front door glass on DX base model doors without the full gx/gxl type trim) from Megazip which claimed to have some - got this response.

"Unfortunately, the spare part 68170-60040 from your order has been discontinued by manufacturer and cannot be supplied. We will delete it from our website catalogue. We apologize for inconvenience."

There is no alternative/substitute available. Seems all worldwide stocks are exhausted. 68170-60030 (for the full door trim style) still exists but that's not suitable.

A lot of the base model grey trim pieces are NLA too.

Yeah, there's a lot discontinued. There's still good availability for mechanical parts, but when it comes to things like electrical, trim, random body components, it's very hit and miss. I've been picking up lots of new parts for about 4 years now, and I've seen availability drop as I went on. Some things I missed out on along the way. The clock is running on all these parts.

More stuff discontinued - 62315-60010-03 and 62315-60010-06.

Very small items (small clip-on 'stops' that go over door time - 1 for each of the four main doors). On my 80 they're all going rusty.

Also NLA is 62510-60010-03 which is the right side trim cover for the rear cargo space. Amayama gives a positive hit (untested) for 62510-60010-E0 at about A$320. What trim code is E0?
