Have you taken the buckle/keeper portion of the seatbelts for your jump seats in your late model 40 apart? The metal portion of the set I have are rusted so badly they can not be saved.....so I destroyed them trying to determine how to disassemble them and how they work.

Haven't a clue. They look small for OEM. The pics are horrifying.

They are horrifying. That is what is left of the actual metal retainer that is inside the plastic housing. The metal was zinc or cadmium coated and rusted out from exposure to water.

You could try these guys...

...or...

There are other places on line. You might have to supply a facsimile of the metal part. Gently filing down the rust/corrosion may reveal any press-fit pins or the like.

Thanks for the lead but those are for early years. Later models like my 1980 had gray plastic housing with a square red release button in the center.
