Disabling Toyota Alarm

    Alright, Junk was right on two accounts-the CC on 40th is annoying, and the alarm downright blows.
    I really want to remove/disable the alarm, for two reasons-
    three different people drive this car on a regular basis, and we only have one key fob (that doesn't work that great anyway), and I don't want to pay $180 for two new ones.
    I hate how the alarm goes off when the car is unlocked using a key. I wouldn't mind if you could set the alarm so that it only activated when you wanted it to, not every time you lock the doors.
    Any suggestions?

    Alarm owner's manual is at my web site.

    You most likely have the RS3000 alarm and the manual will describe how to disable it.
