I did a search... did not really find anything for the 80 series.

I am doing a tune up on my 94 fzj80 and thought about doing away with the distributor.

So I wanted to see who might have already converted their 1fz over to a distributorless ignition system? Will the factory ECM handle this mod?

What in the world are you trying to accomplish? More HP? Increased reliability? Bling?
I realize this doesn't answer your question but I just gotta ask.

One less thing to worry about with maintenance. I jst did a tune up.. yeah was very affordable... but with a DIS the timing is more accurate... just dont know if the ECM will work... maybe need to go to a mega squirt. Hmmmm.... macmini?
