I didn’t even consider maple syrup pricing…Ordered the new terminals.
Negative terminal 90982-06059 - this one is $70 CAD at the local dealer, or $25 CAD on Amazon. Amazon order placed.
Positive 82675-60020 - this one is $29 CAD at the local dealer, ordered it there, will take about 3 weeks to come up from California.
Guess you had a good reason but part from local with long wait vs "A". You won't be complete till you have both parts eh?Ordered the new terminals.

Amazon Canada didn't have the positive terminal, just the negative. Common problem - I see this all the time with stuff like wipers, brake pads, etc. Got to order one part from Amazon Canada, another from Amazon US, the final stuff from a friend's uncle's neighbour's dog's marketplace on Mars.Guess you had a good reason but part from local with long wait vs "A". OEM are not copper. They’re aluminum.@32cls6speedt - As far as I know, mine are OEM, yes.
Yours appear to be aluminium? Pretty sure mine are copper, which is a better conductor. Interesting to see what the new ones will be like.
They appear to be aluminum but are actually copper with a coating that resembles aluminum. Possibly zinc? Lead wouldn’t be durable enough..OEM are not copper. They’re aluminum.
I stand corrected. They appear to be aluminum but are actually copper with a coating that resembles aluminum. Possibly zinc? Lead wouldn’t be durable enough..
That coating having corroded away is why @eatSleepWoof terminals clearly show copper.

It’s all good.I stand corrected.
So keep us informed please.Wish you had a way of metering resultsTerminals arrived much quicker than expected.
Comparing the old & new.
A few notes:
1. The positive terminal did not come with a nut at all.
2. The negative terminal came with a nut that has an attached crush washer (physically attached - I've never seen this before). My original negative terminal had a flange-nut on it. I used the new setup.
3. Blue threadlock was pre-applied on the clamping bolt's thread on each terminal.

I installed the new terminals a few days ago, but forgot to update the thread until now. LX is starting just fine. No real, measurable differences between the coating-free original terminals, and the new, coated terminals. So keep us informed please.Wish you had a way of metering results
