Just bought a 2001 lx470. Going to replace fluids. I can get Chevron Delo ep-5 80w-90 (rated both gl-5 and gl-4) at work for free-ish. I want to do both diffs and the tcase, how much oil will I need? Thanks.

Are you sure that this book is for a 05 LX?
Because the Limited Slip is not mentioned, while I assume that these years do have LS (I have an 04)
A (pre facelift) LC books states:
Standard differential Hypoid gear oil API GL- 5
Limited slip differential Hypoid gear oil for limited slip differential API GL- 5

Pretty sure LSD was only on the 98-99 LX. After that, they were the same as LC with an open rear diff and ATRAC.

That is correct Sir.

98-99 LX had LSD standard from factory (U.S. models)
98-99 LC had open rear diff with an option for Electric Locker (U.S. models)

LSD requires a diff lube with friction modifiers.

Sweet! I remembered something! Maybe there's some life left in this old brain of mine :)

All my respect :)

As already stated in post # 5 above........... "open rear diff and ATRAC "

Sorry man.
To me it was still an option that Atrac is also LS.
I am pretty new to the LandCruiser world.

Thanks for support. Will order a non LS oil.
