Diesel heater (1 Viewer)

While at expo east this year a friend of mine had a d2 diesel heater. Wabasco I think was the make. Anyways I started looking into them and found this on eBay.

Anyone ever used one of these before. Apparently Chinese knockoff. Some good reviews on other sites...

Espar and webasto make many models. They work damn good!

They suffer above 5,000’ or so. Both Webasto & Espar offer their own unique solution as an option. I’ve also heard kerosene-diesel mix helps too.

I had the Webasto 2K in my then Kimberley Kamper and it worked great at or near sea level but was nearly useless at 5,000’+.

Throw a turbo on that heater! If it works on a 3B, it'll work on a heater too, right?

There is a facebook page about the use of these things, apparently much more popular with boaters, but lots of info and feedback. They have something like a 10:1 or 5:1 good vs. bad feedback score, (I forget what it was exactly).
