They suffer above 5,000’ or so. Both Webasto & Espar offer their own unique solution as an option. I’ve also heard kerosene-diesel mix helps too.

I had the Webasto 2K in my then Kimberley Kamper and it worked great at or near sea level but was nearly useless at 5,000’+.

Throw a turbo on that heater! If it works on a 3B, it'll work on a heater too, right?
 
There is a facebook page about the use of these things, apparently much more popular with boaters, but lots of info and feedback. They have something like a 10:1 or 5:1 good vs. bad feedback score, (I forget what it was exactly).
