Diesel engines (1 Viewer)

I was wandering if anyone has swapped a 6.9/7.3 Navistar into their 60? What about 6.2 GM?
I am trying to come up with a little cheaper way of getting a Diesel under the hood than putting in a Toyota.
Any thoughts would be nice

I have though about the 6.5 GM if I EVER swap engines (I am more likely to rebuild a 2F if something when wrong)

If I am not mistaken the 6.2/6.5L GMs have the same bolt pattern as the small block chevy meaning easy to find parts for the swap. The 6.5 is supposedly a better engine then the 6.2

Wouldn't a 4BT be a cheaper way to go? buy a delivery truck, yank all the parts you need, sell the shell on ebay.

Do a search there are a few guys on here that have converted to diesels 4bt, GM6.2, etc...

Or you could buy a wrecked '94 Dodge Ram with the diesel 6 cylinder and tranny all in one bundle, snag all of the parts and have fun beating the shell. That sounds like more fun to me.
