They’re a little bit early. What are they going to do in October?😛

Quick (for me) 34 miles down the coast and back again, stopping to have breakfast with a friend in Huntington Beach. Highlight of the ride was seeing a navy ship in port at the armory.

While I like posting my rides here, any interest in a Strava group/club? I ride more often than I post here, and might be easier to "follow" each others riding. Just a thought....we could also push this thread into the thousands of pages if we all just keep posting here (keeps it simple, and lets everyone use their preferred GPS/logging apps). Just cool to see others that appear to have a passion for biking...similar to our love for 4x4's & off-road adventures.

I'm on Strava, I've never made a Strava club. I am a member of a couple though, the 'No Zwift Club' and 'I ride alone. With Nobody Else' . I'd join a *mud club for sure.

Only 14 miles this morning. Very remote start on a short schedule. Still, 2,000’ of gain.

View of the west Mojave from Dawson Saddle, 7900 feet.

We can always delete it....set up and ready to join:

IH8MUD riders

I'm running currently while I build my bike. Once I get FOJ built, I'll join and track. All of my friends here in Patagonia are all hardcore Strava people.

This is a typical morning (work day) ride for me. I do a lot of little jumps, curb hopping, and cutting through rough patches so have always rode a MTB. Thinking of finally getting a road bike….Hopefully without breaking the bank.

Joined. Where's everyone at?
trying to generate more interest. Let’s keep bringing it up, and I’ll add it to my signature and post all my rides for a while. We’ll either generate more MUD peeps joining or blow up this thread

Yesterdays fun….back up to the snow for first time this season. Almost time to be heading back to NorCal for warmer weather until there’s enough to ski.

Sorry guys, I’m just not a Strava kind of guy. It goes back to high school for me, and the idiocracy of the SAT.

I have no interest in hijacking your thread…want me to start a new one or keep posting here?
It’s not my thread; carry on.

I did a 22 mile loop loaded with panniers, 900’ of gain yesterday. I did a 10 mile hike with 1700’ of gain this morning. And I did them both with a flareup of gout in my right foot. 🤷🏻
