Did the 1999 LC have a factory cup holder divider??

I know the LX did and does...but it doesn’t fit the ‘99 LC. Did it come with factory divider. ??

Our 99 LC came with a three position adjustable divider.

That appears to be the same as my 1998. Sucks with plastic bottles since they are loose and easily tip.

My 1999 LX had a non adjustable one just like yours. I finally found an adjustable one on ebay for a reasonable price. Probably not very exciting but one of the most practical upgrades to my 99. I am also upgrading the overhead console to the later model version with the sunglasses holder.

My uk spec 98 Landcruiser came with a sunglasses holder, but I have the useless cup holder.

Yes, with it the cup holder works sort ok, its very shallow. Oddly I have wheeled without spilling. Without the little insert, your just gonna get wet.

Here’s an idea for a guy with a 3D printer. Make a short extension post for the existing butterfly separator. I can see that being helpful and a hot little ticket.

Im gonna figure this stinkin thing out. Im thinking something like one of those foam noodle floation things but I just tried it and the diameter is just a bit too small. If something like that is soft and a little larger it would fit tight. Then the middle could be cut out the size you like with a little give when placing cup or bottle. Put your thinking cap on guys.

I'm not quite sure what this is referring to. Are you talking about an extension post in the adjustable OEM one that would allow it to grip smaller cups?


I've got an idea for this solution, a bit different than that Amazon one that doesn't fit all models. I'll get something in the works...

What about a this foam hugger. Cut top off a bit. $1 at Dollar tree. May be perfect.

BAM!!! $1 mod works like a charm. Cut off about 1” of top and double side tape to bottom of holder. Steady Freddy with Yeti... or coffee refill cup.
