Did the 100 ever come with rear side airbags? (1 Viewer)

I am sure I have read somewhere that rear side curtain airbags were an option on the 100 series, but I haven't been able to find one with them fitted.

I'd really like my next vehicle to have them to protect the kid's heads (once they are out of child car seats), and I'd really like my next vehicle to be a 100 series. Hopefully I can have both!

My US spec. '06 has curtains in the second row. Not sure if it was an option or standard equipment at that point in time.

In the US it was an option starting in 2003. I think I read somewhere they were standard starting in 2004 but not certain about that.

My '04 has them. Standard equipment after 03 I believe.

My '04 has 2nd row side curtain air bags as well. The 100 series FAQ from Slee indicates side airbags as optional in '03+, but I can't speak to the accuracy of that info.
