Well I finally purchased a dial and base after borrowing a friends regularly.

Westward is manufacturer and I only payed 45.00.

Seemed like a good deal.

I don't know if Enco would ship by a method other than UPS which is pretty undesireable for you, but if they do they'll beat that price a mile.

Great machinist tools on that web site.

My budy told me he purchased the same setup as mine for 30.00 dollars Canuck.

Pretty sure with shipping, duties and brokerage fees I would be hard pressed to beat that price.
