Well I finally purchased a dial and base after borrowing a friends regularly.

Westward is manufacturer and I only payed 45.00.

    Seemed like a good deal.

    Canadian dollars?

I don't know if Enco would ship by a method other than UPS which is pretty undesireable for you, but if they do they'll beat that price a mile.
call and ask them about shipping your way,,,http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRHM

There are several large mailorder marketers of machine tools and accessories with low prices.

Great machinist tools on that web site.

My budy told me he purchased the same setup as mine for 30.00 dollars Canuck.

Pretty sure with shipping, duties and brokerage fees I would be hard pressed to beat that price.

    Thanks
