Diagnosing OME rear shock squeak (1 Viewer)

I have a single OME rear nitro shock squeak that's driving me nuts. All other corners sound fine except for the rear driver side. It's extra sensitive and the slightest movement triggers the sound. How can I tell if it's the shock bushings or internals of the shock or something else near the area?

Standard 2.5 OME lift, heavy front, medium rear.

I had a squeak back there, really annoying. Some silicone lubricant on the lower arm bushing immediately fixed it.

Just lube 1 thing at a time until the noise stops then you'll know what it was..

Thanks @enox - I just drenched the bottom bushing with some silicon. Still a bit a squeak when I bounce the rear end, but I will let it soak in, add more and move on to other shock bushings if needed.

Well, it looks like it’s the rear driver springs. Even the lightest touch makes it squeak.

Hmmm maybe you can raise the suspension on that side and try to reseat the spring

Did you ever figure out what was causing the squeak. I have the same thing and it seems to be coming from the top of the OME rear shock. Solution?

Can someone with BP51 Confirm my theory? Squeak gone, now thump.

I have a 2021 200 with BP51 Suspension on it. Soon after install I had a pretty annoying squeak coming from the back. I read BP51s were shipped with a bad set of washers. I contacted ARB and they sent me new washers no charge. I put them on and the squeak is gone. Shouldn't have been there in...

Unfortunately I never figured it out- ended up replacing my entire setup a few months after. If I ended up keeping the OME setup, I would have checked the bushing and washers. Drenching them with lubricant didn’t stop the sound.
