OK here is the sitch I am on the last legs of a 12ht conversion on a 88 fj62. I am currently in the process of hooking up the alternator w/IC on my 62 alt plug I have 3 wires: yellow, black/yelloe and a 10g white wire. Now, on my new alternator the connection hase three wires as well however they are Red, White, Blue. Does anyone know which go to which? All help appreciated. And yes I have hooked up the other two white to terminal B.
Thank you John

bump......

hey Johnny--what if, by some freak chance, you don't have a 12v starter? What if the reason it isn't getting enough juice is because it is a 24 volt starter?

Just replied to your PM Browndog. I figured I should also share with others.

Please don't hang me if this is wrong. I've been down the long road of trying to figure this one out for my own project. This is what I have deduced from three incomplete manuals and talking with the guy that rebuilt my alt.

RED = Connect to 12V out from ignition switch.

WHITE = Connect through a fusible link to batt +.

BLUE = Connect to charge light relay coil.
