I'm new to this site and would like to get some detailed information and/or diagram with parts list on desmogging my fj40.

if its a dd make sure its legal before you do that , not that i care they will just make you put it back on there are many ways to do that so i will leave that to one of the others guys on here goog luck

i think there is a link to this in search or faq .on my 2 f i used a 73 intake exhaust with 73 carb and dist converted to electronic ig .pluged the air rails with brass hex plugs 3/8 pipe thread i think .it runs fine and you cant tell it was smogged .removed all that useless crap the 2 f is in a 70 so it doesnt need to pass any laws in pa by now there may be better ways to do this good luck again

Plug the EGR vacuum actuator line and plug the vacuum retard line. You're done.

Anything else is wasted time and effort.
