der.. er.. duh... what does it mean when water comes out when you drain the oil?

    Water first, then half water oil, then oil...

    Hmm...

    Wonder if the motor is worth saving.

    In that 60 from Leavenworth??

    The scariest part to me is that oil actually came before the water - that had to be some thick nasty oil to be heavier than water.

    ya dude thats the one... drained the oil... getting ready to pull it. I might rebuild it... first rebuild... for practice... and learning.

    Do you think its worth rebuilding?

    YEA IT WAS HELLA THICK OIL!

    Mistype... it was water first// then oil/water// then Oil.

    my bad.. but it was so black... i'd say 15k since oil change...

    IF you just have a leaking head gasket, and everything else is OK, sure, it is worth fixing.

    tear it apart and take a look, the only way to know forsure...
    post pics of the engine when you get it torn down..

    The easy answer would be that the PO submerged the motor and water leaked in through the dip stick or fill hole until they could get it pulled out.
