New to the Denver area and looking for a good LC shop. Need to get a steering rack, CV and some more worked on. Curious if anyone has any suggestions.

Slee Offroad

Slee for big jobs if you can afford time on their waiting list and Paul @2001LC for anything meticulous. There are a couple other 100 focused shops around the metro area so you're in a bit of a gold mine for top notch service options.

There is a place in Denver that rebuilds Toyota OEM steering racks and CV joints. It is called CVJ Axles. They don't do installs, they just rebuild stuff. I got a steering rack from them a few years ago and it's working great.

You should check out Rising Sun 4X4 club in Denver. Lots of good people with lots of knowledge on Toyotas. They have a forum similar to IH8MUD.

Agree with everything above. Paul is great if you can get on his list. Two other options that I've used that have good reputations are: Japanese Auto Wheat Ridge (Slee uses them for alignments, but they do full service too) and ATLR

One thing with ATLR they try to do best bang for the buck on repairs. So if you want new OEM parts you'll need to tell them upfront.

Also search the Rising Sun Forum. There are a few threads with recommendations.

Looks like I was typing the same thing when you posted about Rising Sun! HA

ATLR - Affordable Toyota Lexus Repair in Arvada has been good to me so far. It came highly recommended by neighbors who drive a LX470 and Tacoma when I first got my LC. I've had CVs installed, steering rack, new radiator, timing & water pump - all is working well and leak free, etc after 6000 miles since the work was done.

Very knowledgable shop won’t up sell and does great work.

RisingSun not just a forum but an excellent club with great family friendly runs in the mountains.

If you’re in the South Denver area (Englewood, Centennial, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, etc) ToyAuto Masters has done me well for years. They’re on South Broadway south of Englewood proper.

I use Toy Car Care in Centennial for my maintenance. They are very fair and honest. They rate things that need to be done and don't try and pressure you into anything.
