Twin Tipped spark plugs made by Denso.

Platinum TT Plug - New Platinum Twin-Tip design with Titanium Enhanced Ground Strap

DENSO Platinum TT

3FE p/n: PW16TT

1FZ p/n: PK16TT

What do you guys think?

:hmm: The geometry looks good to me, if they don't cost too much more than standard plugs, I'd likely give them a try.

I'm not convinced. They tout greater power if you use their plugs, yet a properly working spark plug is simply that - a properly working spark plug. To my limited knowledge there are is no hidden horsepower in "better" spark plugs, just longer lifetime.

I will be sticking with OEM copper. At under 2 bucks per, how can you go wrong?

Go with the OEM's manufacturer's Iridium for just slightly above three times the price and get three times the life? Labor to change the plugs takes about 30 minutes so doing it once in three years saves you about an hour of labor? Worth the extra $12 to me, anyhoo. No big deal. Copper is good.
So, how many of you supercharged 80 drivers run a colder plug than stock?

Stock plugs at a buck-sixty-six a rattle are very difficult to improve upon.

Stock MR2 Turbo plugs at ~7 bucks a rattle are perfect for a forced-induction 1FZ.

After that, expensive plugs equate to flushing your billfold down the toilet.

ND Iridiums are about three times that. Performance about the same.
Brand and #, por favor?
Dan, can you not go three years before you need a spark plug change fix? ;)

Stock plug: 90919-01176 (Denso)

MR2 Turbo plug 90919-01180-83 (Denso)

Toyota part numbers in both cases.
