If we keep it around 55

I'll have my tent setup and be drinking my tenth beer when you arrive.
or on 2nd thought since you won't have to stop as much, maybe I would only be on my 5th beer.

Is someone bringing a chainsaw for firewood?

I'm bringing one.

If we only go 55, the bumps won't spill as much beer....

I may be driving my 60 up due to a family issue farther north wihich I will need to attend so 55 would be the most desirable speed for me. Maybe we will be on a later arrival schedule than the others????

Maybe I will be towing something after all....

I guess after we meet in Ocala we may end up breaking off into smaller sub-convoys depending on running speeds? Maybe we need callsigns...

Not mine: 97 Locked LX 450 for sale

In Orlando. Just saw it on CL, might be a good deal if someone is looking. 250K miles, but the price might be right at $4500 obo.

That chainsaw was a lifesaver! And it never had to start.

hmmmm 250K, and no mention of maintenance records??? $4500 tops!

Did some hardcore looking at the map today. Here are my thoughts:

7:00 - on the road Ocala, drive to Cordele, GA (215 miles, 3hrs, 15 minutes) 10:15EST - refuel
10:45 - on the road Cordele, drive to Calhoun, GA (210 miles, 3hrs, 30 minutes) 2:15EST - refuel
2:45 - on the road in Calhoun, drive to Sparta, TN (135 miles, 2hrs, 30 minutes) arrival by 4:15 CST

This will get us through Atlanta by 2:00EST and Chattanooga by 4:00 EST which is important, and in Sparta with time to relax and set up with daylight.

Just sayin'

Cliff: you've just volunteered yourself for point on navigation in my book :)

I'm installing a CB on Monday. Fortunately my dad had everything in his garage, so he's going to tune it up for me and get it set Monday.

Good job Cliff. I like it.
But not quite as detailed as an Archie trip plan.

Check out an example of an Archie flight plan below.

(no it's not a GSMTR trip route)

Beautiful itinerary! Let's try and stick to it! Which route to Sparta?

LMFAO!!! With that kind of planning you would lose me before you started. I would see a waffle house and feel like stopping on a whim. Then not stop till I was almost out of gas 400 miles later.
