Hi All. I have some bends in my roof rails, probably from a roof rack, or something falling on it. Done by the PO. What is involved in straightening these up? Is it just a matter of a block and hammer approach? I don't have any pics handy, but I'll post them up shortly...
 
I was afraid that might be the answer. I'm also afraid of breaking the thing right off. Here are the picture of the 2 bent areas of the rail...

Your not going to be using a lot of force to get it moving. Go at it slow and unless that rail is completely rusted through you will be able to wallop on it without it "breaking".
