Sorry, itching to sticky something and thought I would get this up for discussion since it's not too far away. Thanks to Keith and Han for hosting this gathering again this year.

Easiest way to get there is take Paseo (W) to the Universe intersection. Turn right (N) to the Paradise/Universe intersection. Make another right (E) onto Paradise. We are in the 2nd subdivison on the right (Villa Chamisa) and our house is at the end of the subdivison on the cul-de-sac.

Sorry to miss this as I will be hunting elk in the Gila at that time. Maybe Stephanie will still go without me.
 
What's the plan for chow? One year we did a Rudy's BBQ - last year was pot luck. About a week out, so should start making a plan. Also, who all is planning on attending - need to get a count to ensure we have enough logistical support....

My life has gotten complicated. I leave for CA on Thursday. I will be back on Sunday. I should make the party, but probably not until 7:00. I'll bring the club checkbook.
 
I think Rudy's was good. I vote for that again. Williams x4 will be there.

it was mentioned at the run, are we doing white elephant again?
 
I vote that we have the club pick up the tab for catering the food and we will need a volunteer to pick up the food and bring it to the party.

Guys,
It is Wednesday and we have the HDC party on Sunday. Very few have confirmed and it is important that we know the head count so we will have enough food if we do it like we have the past 2 years.

If you think you might be coming then please let us know by posting in this thread.

Bring a gift for the white elephant. Bring more than one gift if you can because the kids also have a lot of fun with the gifts if there are enough for them to participate too.

I agree, let's try to make the White elephant gift comical. They're a hoot.

Ali's will be there.
 
Han and I have the house dressed up in Christmas decor more than ever this year - fire pit out back is also complete, and Sunday night will be the first night I plan to have it going. In addition to the food we'll have smore type goods so the kiddos can roast marshmellows out back.

Usually the Chirstmas party has a large head count, so as a ballpark figure we should plan on food for at least 20.
 
this sounds like a bunch of fun, but it is the last night my parents will be in town... so unless it is "more the merrier", i'd have to abandon them. the former greatly increases likelihood of attendance ;)

Extended HDC family - bring them along. My parents were at the last one at my house.
 
Do we have any objections to BBQ from Rudys or another suggestion for a place to supply the food?

I will volunteer to pick up the food at Rudy's and bring it to the party.

cool! i'll ask them how they feel about going tonight... and i'm sure rudy's would be no problem with us.

Clarification... It would be 4 adults +1 kid if we make it

I concur with the suggestion to get Rudy's BBQ. We may bring a dessert as well.
