Whoops.... forgot the decimal; that should be "$10.00".

    ;p

Found this at a garage sale today. Still in the shrinkwrap!

It sits on little metal springs, so I'm going to give it a scale 2" lift! Anyone have any 1/24 scale 35 M/T's they want to sell?

Dangit. I want one of those too.

Is the engine correct? I.e. they didn't shove a V8 from another kit into it?

It's a VX, so it has the correct turbo diesel.

Plus, when I opened it up, I found that it has the option to build it LHD instead of RHD (if only it was that easy in real life!), and it's an auto.

The name of the company that made the model is obscured. Can we have that and the model model number? I'm wondering if the local Hoby Town can order me one.

That's cool! Now you can try out all your mods in 1:24 scale first to see how it will look! Scale down your new custom bumper, sliders, roof rack, see how the new girl friend will look in the passenger seat...('cause you replaced your wife with an 80).

Its made by Tamiya a cool japanese toy making co. they also made a radio controled 79 toyota pickup that if you seen the pics you would sear it was the real thing (metal frame same shape as a truck and metal solid axles and a 3 spd tranny with shift on the fly 4wd)

It's made by Tamiya (#24107), but it's long discontinued. I've had one eye open for one for about two years.

Here's a link to one on eBay (this guy has been listing the same kit for a year... I guess nobody wants to pay US$50 for it!!):

Alas, I just noticed that my new find, even though it was factory-sealed, is missing the window-glass part. Maybe I'll find one in a hobby shop or something. I can try to make the side and back glass, too, but the windsheild will be tough to make.

No, the probably opened it, then re sealed it with the heat shrink wraping. Took out the windshield, and will post it up on e-bay after a few days asking $20.00 to start the bidding for a toyota landcruiser model truck windshield.
You know how they can be...

Tamiya has always made pretty realistic models (they were my favorite as a kid). But one of the coolest R/C vehicles ever made was the Toyota Bruiser they made many years ago. It is one of the most realistic looking R/C vehicles I've ever seen.

This picture dosent do it justice, you just gotta see one in person. Those tiny little scale axles driveshafts and leaf springs look real and the thing drives great too.

That's sweet! Is that the samer kit all modded-up? Where'd you find 1/24 M/Ts and the ARB?
