It all started as a simple job. .. replaced a rusty tank with a poly. Could
not get the fuel guage to respond to new (or old) sending unit. All I did
was fiddle with the ground and swapped sending units.
Then, the 79 2F refused to start. No spark coming out of the coil. Replaced
the coil. Still nothing. I have been reading my brand new Haynes manual
and they have very little to say about the (stock) electronic ignition that I have here.
Is there a way to test the igniter? I really hope that this isn't the problem
since they are big bucks but I'm kinda stuck here.
