anyone got any pic's of a de smoged 22r , or any feedback about doing it ?

I found that taking all the smog junk off made it run a bit stronger but it killed the fuel mileage by 5 mpg. I may not have had the carb hooked up exactly right, but it was screwed up anyway. Weber fixed the problem. If you have a vaccuum diagram, pay attention to where you need vacuum at the carb and when. Some ports can be plugged but others will make your life hell.

also what carb would you use (car model & year) if poss
I used the stock carb until switching to the weber, but the older you go, the less ports there are. However, I don't know what the cfm rating is on any of those carbs
