Dash warning indicators ? (1 Viewer)

Hi

I notice in bright sunlight that there is a warning message in the qauges of my
99 LX470 that says "T-BELT".

hmmm, does this "dummy" message come on after the timing belt breaks ?

if teh timing belt breaks you'll hear the valves talk to the pistons would be my guess. Most likey an idiot light to tell you to service the belt.

I bet it lights at 90k.

I think the UZJ's use the same dash insert as a diesel which has a timing belt reminder, I don't think the gassers have this.
