I have this squeak that has gotten progressively worse until it's driving me crazy. Every time I come to a stop, accelerate, or go over a bump, the dash makes a squeaking noise on the far left side. If I push down on the dash there the squeak stops. My question is, what is making the noise and how involved is it to fix? I plan on removing the entire dash and everything behind it this spring to install Dynamat and some closed cell foam insulation, but I'd like to fix the squeak before then if it's possible without removing everything. Please help! I don't currently have a stereo to cover up the squeaky sound!
