On a Dana 18 Transfer case is it possible to connect both a Warn overdrive unit and a front pto winch ?
Or is it an either /or situation ?
I have a 1978 Mitsubishi Jeep with a 2.7 4DR5 Diesel engine, 4 speed floor shift and single lever transfer for 4WD/H/L. Axle is 4.77
At 50 mph, the engine is loud (ok screaming). After reading up on what Advance adaptors and Herm's overdrive website says about a Saturn overdrive unit placed into the back of the Dana18 things should be better.
However, I would like at some stage to have a front pto driven Winch installed. So my question: Can the pto winch drive shaft be daisy chained into the Warn overdrive unit, or is it simply an either or or situation ?
I apologize if the answer is obvious to the mechanically minded.
