I am putting for sale my 2000 Lexus LX470. I am technically the 3rd owner, but the story as told to me was that it was original purchased by the first owner and spent time in NM/AZ. Moved to CO and was transferred to the original owners son and then I purchased and brought it to TX.

I think it’s a good car I have enjoyed it a lot. I have not had issues with it other than the AHC started to fail last year and I decided to replace with a mild Tough Dog suspension setup. I had this professionally installed and then put the larger BFG tires on it. I also installed metal tech sliders at this same time. Outside of those modifications the car is original. I have the 3rd row seats that were never used. They had the plastic still on them when I purchased. Factory antenna still works, radio works, although I am not sure of the CD player I honestly have never tried it. Multiple keys and owners manual.


The only blemish is the small rust spot around the windshield that many have experienced. It has an old clear bra on the front. Paint overall is pretty good for the age. Interior is very good for the age. I believe the car was dealer maintained it’s entire life.

I think it rides nicely. A little firmer than stock but not jarring. Does well on the Highway. I think it has a more commanding feel of the road.
All of the AHC lines were removed when the lift was installed.

Was 90k mile service done, timing belt, fluids, etc? Is that a Tekonsha brake contoller 4pin connector hanging down in the driver legwell?

Yes 90k service was done in 9/2017 and replaced the timing belt. I called the dealer to confirm. They did not replace the water pump.
That is a 4 pin I had installed. I have the brake controller but disconnected at this time.

I follow the market very closely. I think the price is right on. I have seen much lesser machines for more money. I like the early LX 100s for their simple interiors and Non NAV dash. This truck can be upgraded with a Sony or Alpine to bring it up to the 21st century. GLWTS.
