I have a 1985 4runner with 1uz v8 swap crawler I'm considering trading. Currently looking for an FJ80 or LX450, Ideal trade would be a diesel 80.
I am in no hurry and just testing the waters to see what's out there.
This is street legal however it has been an off road only vehicle the past few years so would need a little TLC to be driven as a daily again.

1uz v8 from 94 sc400
W56 manual trans
Twin transfer cases
5.29 gears
Lunchbox locker front
Manual e locker rear - I have the electric motor just haven't put it on yet
Trail gear high steer and chromoly axles
Ifs hub swap with tundra brakes
Scion tc front seats
Factory rear seats
Dual batteries
Pioneer double din radio
Procomp 4" lift with extended shackles
1.5" body lift
Taurus electric fan
37x12.5.16.5 wheels and tires

Who did the engine swap for you? I am in the Dallas area and have a 1996 LX450, factory lockers front/rear, 2 1/2" Old Man Emu lift, 9000 lb. winch, 7 pin mod. The engine is the stock 4.5 liter 6-cylinder that runs, but has blown the head gasket. I am looking to rebuild the 4.5 liter or do an engine swap for a V8. Trying to find a local shop to do the work. Any info you have would be appreciated.

I did the swap myself approximately 5 years ago, idk how hard it would be to do it an lx but I know slee used to offer a 2uz swap for the lc and lx450s

Yeah, his are great but start about $25k which is way out of my reach...
