D.U.I. ManAfre ignition (1 Viewer)

Anyone using the ManAfre DUI distributor in a 1979 FJ40? Does it work? Comments..
Oh, and is the ballast resistor in the 1975 and later US spec FJ40's? My wiring diagram shows the resistor, but I can't find it anywhere...

There have been several cases of DUI dizzy's completely destroying camshafts... Requiring a partial motor rebuild. DUI refused to refund any of the motorwork, just the Dizzy... Junk!
