CV Axle Reboot - need some input (1 Viewer)

I just finished rebooting one axle. First time ever. I lined up the marks for the inner race that holds the balls, but neglected to line up the marks on the shaft/outer cup before putting it together. How much of a problem is this?

I didn’t line up any marks. Hasn’t killed me yet.

Ditto. I was able to retain the marks on one CV but not the other side. No noticeable difference.

I’ve mixed balls and races from multiple joints to get rid of chipped ones. Zero issues.
