Welcome to ONSC!

I am busy as hell this year with family and work....but I have committed to TWO runs this year.

Logans Run and SFLC Wintery Mix we have shared with ONSC in past....

Count me in...

I'm in.

I plan on going. I may be bringing the whole family if I can buy a box to put a lot if our gear and luggage in.

I'm all paid up.

When is everyone leaving? Trying to figure out how to get off work and go. Would love to get new the stove some use.

I am heading up Friday morning...arrive around noon or early afternoon.

I usually stop at Outpost and stock up on anything I forgot...top off gas tank...buy my trail pass for Saturday and then head to camp to get tent and all set up before dark. Then if I get my favorite area I either sit in chair and read or put up my jungle hammock and relax... If raining I sit under tarp or get in tent and nap. :)

If some of you have never been there before look through my older threads for Uwharrie as I put maps and GPS coordinates in each of the threads.....

If all else fails let me know what time to expect you and will meet you at Outpost and guide you into camp as it can be confusing your first time there.

Map of Uwharrie Trails

Eldorado Outpost for Trail Pass, Food, Firewood, Gas, etc

Badin Lake Group Camp It is actually the clearing ...

They will give you a trail map at outpost when you buy your trail pass for Friday and/or Saturday.....they can show you Group Camp but it is fairly easy. I should be there after lunch and can round up any stragglers.

I can post up directions for anyone that needs it from the outpost to group camp.

If anyone is unsure how to get there or wants to meet at the Eldorado Outpost on Hwy9 to ensure you got everything and get you to camp....just let me know by PM. I am leaving Friday morning so just let me know.

Weather is forecasted to br awesome again...80s during day and liw 60s at night for Troy NC...maybe up higher will be slightly cooler.

Should be dusty though with no rain to keep it down.

Looking forward to this again.

Yea, I have been keeping an eye on the weather. It is going to be fantastic. Everyone needs to remember to replace your air filter when you get back home. It's going to be dusty and the filter is going to get dirty QUICK. I may take one with me and pop it in for the ride home.
