I know this may seem a bit...ummm, i don't want to say geekish(is that a word?) or creepy , but I know when I'm driving around I always keep a lookout for other cruisers and get a kick out of spotting them and giving them a wave. So I thought I'd start a post of "cruiser spotting" around town.

I'll start...
Today I was at the sherwood park flying J and spotted a brown lexus 470 (i know not a "cruiser" but still...) and a brown fj60.

were these anyone on here?

anybody else spot any?

I saw a pooh brown 60 yesterday on my way to the terwillegar off leash park.

Brad Toma's brown BJ60 with an ARB bar, I spotted at the Baccarat Casino on saturday night.

cruiser sighting

Spotted a champagne colored HDJ 81 driving down 167 ave this evening. i've seen him a few times driving around the north end.

stalkerish, i know, but i'm o.k with that.

afew people have told they have seen other pigs around, i am reluctant to believe it.

another one

This morning I spotted a cream colored BJ42 turning onto the Anthony Henday from 62 ave. I was in a school bus full of kids on the way to Rabbit Hill but I still used the moment to "teach" them that Landcruisers are not Jeeps!

Thats right, probably the most valuable thing they learnt this year. Now for the final are you making a test showing Land Cruisers with pictures of different vehicles that look like Land Cruisers?

I've already taken them through this site showing the pictures of the different models. they were very impressed with some of the pictures showing them jumping or climbing mountains!

on another note, today i saw a blue 60 series(couldn't tell whether it was a 60 or 62, i saw it from the back) turning into the agricom parking lot. it looked pretty stock, with only a lift on it.

spotted a white 80 series (LHD) while driving home from hockey today. it had an aftermarket bumper and some lights.

Just got back into town after a week in northern Idaho.
Saw a couple 40's, a few 60/2's and a lot of 100/200, or whatever they are (after the 80 series they all look the same to me).

Not as many cruisers as I was expecting. On past trips down to Montana I noticed a lot more cruisers. Kind of figured I would see just as many in Idaho, but not this trip anyways.

I was surprised by the number of toyota trucks down there though. They seem to be really popular with the blue collar crowd. I guess they don't "need" a 3/4 ton diesel for a work truck down there...

81 series

Spotted an older (than me) gentleman driving a cream colored 81 series with a bush guard on 82 st street this afternoon.

That was the first one I had seen in awhile.

I know where there is a 70 in the west end, but I ain't sayin where. :flipoff2:. I always hope I'm gonna drive by it and see a for sale sign, so far no such luck.

i saw a bj40/42 in a backyard in the west end. don't move the whole time i was around there. might be worth doing a little recon.

A guy named Reg has a blue BJ42 hidden in his backyard beside a shed near 4 wheel.
Its totally complete, but rotten to the bone. Supposedly he's keeping it for his grandson (12 years old), but has no interest in it at the moment. :(

I saw a very stock golden BJ70 (CDN SPEC) on 104 ave & 109st with a 16 ft carpet strapped to the roof.

I saw a tan 40 series heading south on 122st and 57ave. Most likely a late 70's one. Couldn't get a good look at it.

Saw a 60 series with a hefty roof-rack loading up with free fire-wood along 99 St near 63 Ave. Couldn't tell if it was a RHD or LHD, but suspect LHD as it didn't look JDM-clean.

Saw a poo-brown 60series with round lights, heading west on 104th ave and about 109st.\
Purplish-black tint in the rear windows.

A grayish BJ71 passed by me with a dog poking out from the rear window.
That was saturday by the road by the HUGHES on 91st / 36 ave.

Saw a white 60 series this morning, lifted with what looked like 33's on it. 17 Street and 76 Avenue.
