@bcsteel
I could probably fit 5 switches on the left, depending on popular opinion.

Popular Opinion is DO NOT crowd the fj62 Tall and Skinny Size Spec. knock outs lay out beyond that of a FJ62 , simple ascetics alone ..........please

- you will simply LOOSE all your FIT FORM and Even FUNCTION too by crowding switches together like sardines

- my opinion : LOOSE the CIG socket and use that space if necessary at all ?

- follow the 62 spacing and you do not loose structure integrity either between open switch bays of chases hand crafted wonder works ............

Did some quality control today to see how strong my 3D printed bezels are compared to OEM. In this highly scientific test I placed a new 3D printed bezel on two jack-stands, then painfully balanced an old 2F Crank Shaft in the center of the bezel. In the picture below the 3D printed bezel is completely supporting the Crank Shaft with no external assistance whatsoever. This 2F Forged crankshaft weighed to be 72lbs.

Seeing that my original OEM bezel cracked with No Crankshaft, I feel that the only conclusion must be that my New 3D printed reproduction bezel is stronger and will last longer.

The bezel is still as good as new. No cracking or other permanent damage done. Never replace your bezel again with my reproduction units. Stronger than OEM and look just as good.

The material I use for all my products is highly temperature resistant and ~10x more UV resistant than ABS.

For those of you who want a Cleaner look in your FJ60, I'm now offering a Pre-Painted option for select products.
The ash tray and dash pocket inserts can now come with a seamless look, you'd never be able to tell they were 3D printed. I still offer the plain finish option for those of you who want to paint these yourself.

The painted option is Only available at

Nice work, Chase. These clips worked like a charm to get my new city racer weatherstrips attached to the original chrome moulding.

Awesome, these will be great to have on hand.

On that topic... You have any interest in recreating the black plastic trim/tips that go on the chrome? something that could maybe be glued on? Probably not a lot of demand, but I haven't seen many chrome strips with that intact and those of us that want to keep the chrome might like it.

@ChaserFJ60 and I have talked about those. I’m on the hunt for a good set of them to mold out of 2-part urethane epoxy. They would end up with the same pliability as the originals. I’m not sure about the longevity of urethane out in the elements, but my guess is that the price point would be very cheap if I made them and they could be replaced several years down the road for not much cash. That’s all conjecture though - urethane might prove very durable outdoors. More to come on my end.

FJ6X Window Chrome trim clips are now available at

Finally! after many requests I now offer a paint matched version of my 3D printed bezel! Ive had a custom one off color mixture created by professionals in the automotive painting field to get the closest match as possible to OEM for our interior beige bezels! You CANT buy this color in a can! Ive invested alot of time and effort to give my customers not only new parts but improved parts, and this bezel is no different. These 3D printed bezels are made out of ASA, a plastic that is ~10X more UV Resistant than ABS.

At my university I took advantage of our professional lab grade equipment to test my 3D printing material and printing settings to give my customers the strongest and most optimized aftermarket parts. Using an Instron compression/tensile testing machine I tested my 3D printed material and following ASTM D638 - 14 Testing standards my team and I were able to Maximize our products strength.

New and improved bezel V2 has a better fit than before with new precision measuring equipment.
On the left we can see my color matched bezel, on the right we can see this same piece unpainted.

Please note the color shown in the picture differs very much from how it looks in real life, There are many factors that make the paint appear different online such as screen type, screen color settings, brightness, camera settings that took the picture and much much more.

The painted version will be sold Ready to install by the end user!

These can be purchased here:

Originally our OEM bezels from Toyota were made with a dyed plastic, meaning that if you broke into the bezel the dye would be consistent throughout the material, The problem with doing bezels like this is that there is no paint to protect the plastic to harmful UV rays which will dry out the plastic over the 30 Years that they've been exposed to the sunlight. Not only do I use a superior material compared to OEM, the new paint job will protect the raw plastic for an even longer life span than before, AND using the 3D printed construction my bezels are significantly stronger than OEM. We took great time to strengthen these bezels where our originals would crack.
Just look at this unpainted bezel supporting a 72lb Crankshaft out of a 2F engine.
CRANKSHAFTTTTT.jpg

I understand Ive sold bezels to customers who did not have the option for painting. All customers who have previously purchased a bezel will be able to send these back in for a Heavily discounted rate, The requirement to get the repainting discount price is that you must have purchased a bezel before 03/15/2022. Please email cruiserheadparts@gmail.com with your original order number for more details.

If you have an original OEM bezel that's had some plastic restoration work done to it I will also accept those in for a new paint job to revive that OEM look! Those inquires can also email me at cruiserheadparts@gmail.com for more details.

Dude, I read this whole thing and was thinking “god dammit now I gotta buy the painted bezel too!!”

But you saved me at the end. PM incoming.

Does that mean gray painted bezel is on the horizon as well?
sidenote: I always wondered if there are more brown interiors than gray....I think the answer is yes?
