The posts I have seen referencing using this replacement have described it as plug and play, as does CC on the product page. They have told me by phone that as well. Here is a picture of my OEM radiator transmission line port, and the CC port. Straight thread and same diameter on both, but clearly flat versus flared at lock nut.

I am wondering if the OEM radiator does not have the original fitting. I am the only owner and dont recall having any work done to the trans cooler or lines, however, I am 60, and have owned for half of my life, so....

Suggestions?

My 62 brass/ copper radiator cooler hole is exactly like the one in the bottom pic.

** Mine has an elbow that screws in there. The other end of the elbow probably has the fitting like the aluminium top pic.

Find an adapter (jegs, summit racing) or return the radiator.
