I had to cancel my registration due to a schedule conflict 😒. Hopefully someone will get in off the waitlist.

Felt like i had to do Hells and Fins, given first time to Moab, and wanted to meet Ken on Thursday. Kokopelli should be a fun way to start it off.

Still waiting also.

For reference, I somehow refreshed and got in 5 minutes before the hour when it opened. And was all wrapped up before it crashed.

I wonder which of these will most want to remove my stock bumpers for me....I was on the fence choosing between Wipe Out Hill and Fins and Things.

If you don't mind a few scraps on the lower corners you should be fine. I did Hells, Whip Out and Fins last year with a stock rear. I have a few scrapes on the lower corners. I don't think I hit it much on Whip Out but I did some on Hells and then I was not paying attention at the very end of Fins and hit the driver rear lower corner. I have a Dissent rear on order, but I don't think it will get here before Cruise Moab.

That is perfectly acceptable since I've already prepped those lower corners;)

I'll follow you to pick up anything that it's dirt on Wipe Out. Lol

Costco Regular gas last night:
$5.05

Costco Regular today:
$5.69

Even if it doesn’t get worse (it will) that’s $1000 all by itself...not to mention accommodations, trail fuel, etc.

Very strong chance I cancel my CM registration.
Simply too much.

Wonder how much it would cost us to ship the 200s from so cal? Only half kidding.

I don’t know, but a few weeks ago, our favorite Mud-member shipper quoted $1100 to ship to Denver…and that was only one-way…. Gas was also $1.40 less per gallon at the time over here.

Make up your mind soon so there is time to fill the vacancy.

I understand the economics of the situation. You did me a solid a couple of years ago when we tied for the Grand Prize at the LCDC and let me take it. I have been trying to figure out how to repay you. How about I fill up your tank in Moab. Moab wouldn't be the same without you my friend

BTW- That prize was so nice my daughter "borrowed" it and I haven't seen it since

Well dang…that’s the Ken Romer I know.
-A good dude through and through. :)

I appreciate that very kind offer, Ken. Sheesh. But you don’t need to do that. Besides…I won a similar prize to yours the very next LCDC year. :)

In all candor though…with multiple factors going on, its more of a cumulative effect thing, that I suspect many are feeling. More like “random multiples” piling on, and piling up.

Perspective & first-world problems:
--I’ve got very dear Ukrainian friends who just lost contact with their family who live in heavily-bombed Mariupol as I type this. I’ve been trying to find a way to send $ to them to help, but there’s been no way for them receive it nor spend it. No food, no water or power to buy or send and missing people. Truly awful stuff that reminds me we’re pretty dang blessed in the vast scheme of things.

I’ll decide soon to either go & have a blast, or make room for someone else to go & have a blast. 👍🏼

Thanks again for such a crazy-kind thought.
