Since re-gearing to 4.88's the Cruise Control is acting funny.
The throttle is surging, but very lightly. Nothing shows on the Tachometer or the Speedometer, but there is a light acceleration and deceleration at around 1 pulse per second or second and a half. (1 to 1.5Hz) It's super subtle, just enough feel it and make me motion sick. :hungover:

When hauling the trailer there is enough air resistance at 55 and above that it no longer pulses.
Without the trailer at 65 it doesn't pulse. But it gets progressively worse the slower the rig is going.

My guess is its a balance thing, like a dashpot needs to be trimmed.
There is nothing about this subtle of a CC problem in the FSM.

Anybody else that's re-geared had this issue or fixed this?

Have you checked the cruise control cable for proper adjustment? Slack in the cable can produce your symptoms.

Nope, cable is as tight as can be adjusted without pulling on the throttle cam assembly.
