I've only put 3000 miles on mine since yours went into the shop. The sad part is it averaged 10 mpg with the highest gas prices on record. I doubt I locked in my hubs more than 4 times.

Weld through zinc primer. I like the UPol product personally. Then coat the back side with 3M cavity wax and and wand extensions to reach difficult areas.
