the wife mentioned this was on a news clip this morning.
what a f'd up story.
dont go to the IV without your piece.
people are WAAY off out there.

And people give me a hard time for never being without a fire arm. I'll be damned if I'm going to lose my life, or arm, to some shotgun wielding crazy. Or anyone else in a group I'm wheelin' with for that matter.
It would be interesting to know the whole story though, I'd be willing to bet there is a little more to it....

Wow another hit to two of my favorite rights in this country. There is no good way for this to hit the media. Either guns kill people and there will be more bans, or wheelin' is horible and there will be more trail closures.....fuel on either fire :(

All because some crazy miner!

That is CRAZY!

That's what I told a friend of mine. Way I figure it, the cops wouldn't be looking at putting him into prison.

settle down beavis.

the gun stat the media doesnt talk about is how over half of gun related deaths in america are self inflicted.
the other 35+% of the others are black and hispanic gang related.
the white on white gun crime in america i think is under 5%.

mind you these are internet stats, but found repeatedly, so they have to be close.

and i agree, the authorities would not have had any work to do after i left.

The media doesn't care about facts was more the point I was making. Any time someone is shot a new frenzy of gun control picks back up again.

I have wheeled out in that area before, but it's been a few years and I guess I should keep it that way.

I went out and volunteered with the "Hunter Ed" folks last weekend in Roseburg. Those folks were teaching not only gun safety but ethics and courtesy in the field. Point is we all can do something something about it by setting the proper example- personally and as a club.... and passing it on to the youngins'.
WOW That felt good.
