Dealing with Marlin Crawler is a seriously frustrating pain in the ass experience.

The options are to install Mark's gears or wait and see what we are coming up with (as long as our machinist keeps working on it).

there are a few of us that ... well ... are not impressed with Marlin.

maybe they are so busy they don't want any more work?

Oh, I'm impressed with Marlin, he's a really good guy, but it's really hard to get through to his business and get them to process an order. :deadhorse:

I've been trying for more 3 or 4 years to get through to them... painful, slow, losing hope... -->> :bang: trying to place an order for crawler boxes. It almost makes me look like a bright shining star in comparison :santa: .

BUT Rob did manage to get a live person on the phone the other day. :) It would appear, however, that the person on the other end of the phone (and Rob did manage to get an email address) didn't have much of a clue about business (and businesses) in Canada.

I am going to test out that email address this weekend and see if there's a live body on the other end of it that is more responsive than a cadaver :skull:.

I have nothing good to say about the last phone call I had with Marlin Crawler , those fawks put me on hold for a long time , I had to hang up. The bill was like $ 11.00 bucks for nothing.
The Marlin Box is good , how in the hell do you get one when they put you on hold for 25 minutes.

I have Marks gears from Australia. I like them .
Klune V also makes a reduction box. ( I am not sure if they do one for the split case landcruiser yet)
Atlas makes a whole transfer case with low gearing also.

Remember when adding a crawler box that drive shaft lengthen/shorten is a must. With the Marks low gear set , just a little grinding is needed inside the case.

Ohh thanks for all the reply´s i know that i can get low range gear´s in my trans but i just think i must try to get some kind off are crawlbox. about the marlin hmm i think they are really good but who cares when it´s impossible to get one.

have you tried the R141 tranny? i stuck one in my PZJ70 replacing the R151 and it works very well with 36" tires.

no i have not tried a 141 but i would just like to have are low gear between my r151f and split case so i self dicede if i will juse it or not:)
