This is my first time posting but this forum has been incredibly helpful. To be honest I am at a loss. I have a 96 LX450 that was running great until a few days ago it started up like normal then hit the accelerator while in park, engine rev'd up a bit then dropped and stalled out. Ever since, it cranks but won't actually start.
So far I have:
Checked the spark plugs which look good, and continue to have spark in at least in the 3 that have been checked (#1,2, & 4)
Pulled off the return fuel line and getting what seems to be good pressure (have not tried to measure at this time yet)
All fuses and relays look fine, I am getting the engine light when starting and lights/radio continues to work
Did a compression test that read (#1->6: 170, 168, 160, 150, 160, 165)
I saw on this thread Emergency Troubleshooting Procedures - FAQ Item (Recommend Keeping Copy in Truck) that cleaning the fuel pump relay may help, so going to try that momentarily.
Any other ideas to look for? Any help would be tremendously appreciated
Edit: also when car was idling had no engine codes
