Yep cost me all of $35 to have the anti-rotation arm welded onto my crank pully holder. A ¾ to 1” drive breaker bar is definitely over $100 these days (unless you’re a Pittsburg tool fan, even then…). As you can see in Broskis provided photo… the drive/tange of the breaker bar isn’t 100% engaged into the crank holder, the detent ball of the breaker drive isn’t engaged fully and held in by the detent ball, therefore the breaker has the ability to slip out under load. Another plus side is you can carry your crank pully holder with optional “anti-rotation device” in the back of your vehicle as an emergency roadside “negotiator device”nice, i got mine done a week sooner not waiting for (or making) a tool. can't say enough how cool all the comradery here is.
Somebody liked my post and just saw this question. All of you guys using the starter to remove the bolt.....what are you using to HOLD the HB when torquing the nut back to 304 lb. ft. ?
I sure wouldn't want to carry that around with me in the back of the rig. It's something that could be a projectile in a accident or roll over.Yep cost me all of $35 to have the anti-rotation arm welded onto my crank pully holder. I have the small Tekton and it has worked wellFor putting things back together, there's a 300 ft-lb torque wrench now (Aug '23) on Amazon for $95. Probably a step up from HF. 26,000 ratings, 4.5 stars.

I like Tekton. I have several of their tools and a 250 ft-lb torque wrench. They stand by their stuff and it’s made in Taiwan. I like their warranty and their customer service. For putting things back together, there's a 300 ft-lb torque wrench now (Aug '23) on Amazon for $95.
