Crank but no start after a brief drive. (1 Viewer)

all right fellas, where do I start. Took the 40 just around the block when I heard a loud back fire and the truck did not want to restart.

It cranks but no start. Previous to this I’ve taken it on little drives around town but this was after 5 minutes.

The truck does not have the original carb, do we start there?

You should tell us more about your setup. Build date, engine model, carb make, any mods... otherwise we’re just guessing.

ah yes, it’s a 71’ with the original 1F and a Weber carb.

I don’t know anything about the Weber carbs.
