FJ 62 owner, just restored vehicle. When driving head lights suddenly go out and both directionals light up inside. Is this a ground or a relay problem. Thanks for your time. Many more questions but will start here.

Maybe your combination switch needs a good cleaning. Looks for the links in the first posting of this thread:
