Anybody know this truck? I talked to him and it sounds like a good deal. Tried to make him an offer but he has two people looking at it tomorrow and I'm 250 miles away.
The owner apparently modded the transfer case so that it is now selectable between 2 and 4 wheel drive. Anything in particular I should look for?

I've looked at this truck for a ONSC club member. It was last October.
The 2wd, 4wd system worked fine. Only problem you will have with this is you lose your ABS in the process since the birfs are no longer spining. Lockers worked fine, took it on a little trail by my house to make sure.
The interior was a little ruff and paint was a little fade, but besides that it was a decent running truck. I think my buddy was trying to find something that didn't need any work on it (paint and interior had to be perfect for the
) and the lack of abs is hard to sell to your wife if 4 kids are going in it.
