I would like to add stop drilling the ends of the crack as well as rust reformer and some type of seal up.I would just treat area with a rust converter (Ospho) and cover with a sealant (Sikaflex)
I have one side with a crack.. its been there for over 20 years as far as I know.. if it has not gone catastrophic yet.. it wont!
now that 80's can be bought for 2 grand its not so much of a problem now![]()

Yeah, I was thinking about a recent thread that showed cracks in the frame near the steering box. I can remember an older thread, too.Yep, in our case, keeping up with the frame, axle bracket, etc, cracks, cosmetic C pillar cracks are not much of a worry!![]()
