In case anyone is shopping for a RTT this season, Costco has a sale going on their hard shell pop-up RTT for $1700 shipped. It's a pretty decent price for a hard top RTT. I guess the major benefit is their very open return policy and good customer service. One can try it out without fully committing. Or if you wanted to buy one but were worried about broken parts or manufacturing defects, now you would have recourse.

Has anyone used these? There are identical RTTs popping up on Amazon for the same price as well.

I would want to see some serious reviews and so some research before considering one, however. I try not to abuse the return policy at costco for issues that are not their doing.

Same here... yet I see people returning things that clearly look well used, or food that's nearly all eaten. This RTT might kill the Costco return policy by winter lol
