Just got back from a trip to Costa Rica to do some field work. Saw tons of 40, 60 and 70 series down there and a ton of interesting critters. As I was the driver for the trip, I missed out on a ton of nice cruiser photos. Here are a few that I was able to get.

Can't have a Costa Rica post without some Red-eyed Treefrogs

And finally, a treefrog that we found that hadn't been seen in the wild for 35+ years.

More to come when I download the rest of the pictures.

When you said "critters" I thought you meant of the more "college" variety...

Or at least "exotic"

Never saw any of Onur's critters in CR (nor the red-eyed tree frogs even though I looked - good catch). But lot's of cruisers.

FWIW, I'd move to CR in a heartbeat given the opportunity. I love that country.

I was walking around in San Jose CR a few years ago and I saw a bunch of hot looking chicks heading into a casino, so I decided to go in. There were hotties everywhere inside and they started coming up to me to say hi. I'm thinking I love it down here with all the friendly hot girls.

Then I remembered prostitution is legal in CR, but it was still nice to have eye candy around.

Will they let anyone in? I mean does one have to have a job or can you just decide you want to move there and go?

I am thinking of retiring to Baja. There is this nice palm canyon that a friend took me to last year... I think I can get back there. Might have to eat tree frogs though.

in amplexus no less. good pic for sure! (looking at the tree frogs, not beno's pic.:flipoff2: amplexus there could get you :ban:).

Yeah, I remember the first time I went down there I was staying in San Jose at the end of the trip. We walked down to this sports bar called the Sportsman's Club. I was shocked at the number of quality "critters" that were there. Took us about an hour to realize why they were hitting on all of the older gringos.

Yeah, the red eyed treefrogs are pretty amazing for one of the more common species down there. We typically find a lot of them in amplexus.

Ummm, move the tree frogs to the bars?
