Wow just got back from costa rica and the place was packed with a ton of cruisers! alot of 80 and 100 series, and a ton of 40's very well taken care of. alot of them were diesels too! like this one

Been to Costa Rica many times. Always a good LC showing, even some really built ones now and then. Wouldn't think that would be a place for recreational off-roading since most of the roads outside the capital are terrible and the basics would suffice for regular use. But a lot has changed since the 90s I guess...

that one doesn't look so well taken care of. :p
Glad to know you were out of town. I didn't reach you before the club xmas meeting and thought you were going to disappear like other noobies with traumatic xmas tree runs.

Maybe Kent is ready for a new year's snow run?... :-)

its gonna take more than that to scare me off! new years run is possible, depends if im still hung over. see you guys soon! yeah david that truck isnt particulary nice , but i saw it everyday so it was any easy pic to take. some pretty tricked out 40's and 80's with expedition gear always came flying by before i could take a pic.

Looks like 70 series front signals. Coincidentally, I am leaving for Costa Rica on Saturday to do some fieldwork down there. Where did you go in Costa Rica?

I was in Nosara, about 2 hrs from Liberia on pacific coast. great surf beaches

How great? What size surf? Longboard? Shortboard? Many people in the break?

Im just a beginner on longboard, but head high + surf, about a dozen or so people max!

Interestingly enough, the people who have had "issues" on the tree run in the past have never come back....

:)

I see. Maybe trying to incorporate the tradition butt-slap (as in sports) into offroading wasnt such a good idea. Maybe the club should rethink that one ;).

it's this sense of humor and Kent's running with the pink panties joke, that tells me you both are here to stay. the ones without a twisted sense of humor are the ones we don't see again. :D

We spent some time up there in Guanacaste, but didn't make it to the beach, we spent a lot of time up near Bijagua in the mountains.
